Japan’s Honda Motor profit dropped by 40.2% in Q4 2018

Tokyo: According to sources, Japan’s Honda Motor profit faced the decline of over 40% in the last quarter of 2018.

Japan’s Honda Motor profit for October to December 2018 dropped by 40.2%. In Q4 2018, the profit was 170.1 billion yen (equivalent to $1.56 billion) as compared to 284.5 billion yen during the same time period a year earlier. However, the result is compared with the 208.8-billion-yen median of the 10 analyst estimates.

Honda Motor managed its full year profit forecast at 790 billion yen. However, it now assumes that the local currency will be traded around 111 yen to the United States Dollar through March 31. The previous forecast was 110 yen.
