PSX: KSE 100 Index dropped by over 1,000 points


Pakistan Stock Exchange or PSX is on constant decline as KSE 100 Index by more than 1,000 points.

KSE 100 Index decreased by 1002.48 points and reached at 38300.63 points. However, at the start of day it was at 39303.11 points. The turnover was 189,763,050 as compare to the 138,104,150 on the previous day. However, Worldcall Telecom observed the highest turnover of 20,670,500.

In addition, KMI 30 Index fell by 2.84% or 1879.84 points and reached at 64,423.47 points. The KSE All Share Index decreased by 501.84 points and reached at 28,176.99 points. In total, 237 decreased while 789 advanced.

358 organizations transacted shares in the market. However, 262 got losses while 80 achieved gains. On the other side, share prices of other 16 organizations did not observe any change.

Indus Motor Company observed the maximum decline of Rs 61.24 in its share price. However, Philip Morris Pak achieved the maximum gain of Rs 154.57 in the share price.
