Petrol price in Pakistan was reduced by Rs. 5.66 per liter with the approval of Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. The new petrol price in Pakistan is Rs 263.02 per liter.
The Ministry of finance has issued a notification for new petroleum rates that will be effective from 16th oct 2025. Along with petrol, diesel, kerosene oil, and diesel oil also saw a reduction in rates. The rates of them are as follow:
Petrol: Rs 263.02 litre, reduced by Rs. 5.66 per litre
Diesel: Rs. 275.41 per litre, reduced by Rs. 1.39 per litre
Diesel Oil: Rs. 162.76 per litre, reduced by Rs. 2.74
Kerosene Oil: Rs. 181.71 per litre, reduced by Rs. 3.26 per litre
the new prices will remain effective for 15 days. the government said that the petrol price rate cut was announced following a stable pakistani rupee value and favorable global crude oil changes.
