Petrol Price Increased by Rs2.29, New Rate Reaches Rs346.16

Petrol got more expensive in Pakistan again on Wednesday. The government raised the price by Rs2.29 per litre, taking it to Rs346.16 for September 3. This is the second increase in as many days.

High-speed diesel (HSD) went up too. Its price rose by Rs1.11 per litre, moving from Rs370.92 to Rs372.03.

The Petroleum Division issued the notification, and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) put the new rates into effect right away.

On Tuesday, the government had already raised petrol by Rs1.08 per litre and diesel by 51 paisas. Put together, prices have climbed twice this week alone.
